After playing around with cosmetics makeup, I had an epiphany. I needed to find my own individual look through cosmetics makeup. This took understanding my face more.
I took the time to study my face without cosmetics makeup. A face is like a landscape and it's up to you to discover how you want to cultivate it. A natural face can also act as an empty palette. It is up to the painter to figure out how to design it. When I observed my face, I noticed some aspects I wanted to emphasize with cosmetics makeup. For example, I have large almond shaped eyes, so I would always make sure to emphasize my eyes through eyeliner. I always want to give the illusion of larger eyes, so I'll be certain to also curl my eye lashes and apply mascara. I'm not completely happy with my nose, so I decided to learn how to contour it and make it appear sharper. I also love my cheekbones, so I brought it out through the magic of contouring and highlighting.
