I Think Fragrance Cosmetics Augment Attractiveness |

I once had a human biology lecturer called Dr. Carmichael who was against the use of fragrance cosmetics. According to him hot water (without soap) is enough to clean the body and leave it smelling fresh. He was of the opinion that we should all let our natural pheromones come into play. He also thought that fragrance cosmetics could mask the body's natural pheromones. I have not forgotten this biology teacher’s opinion. Nor have I ever been able to agree with it. For a start there was nothing sexy about the way Dr. Carmichael smelled. Don’t get me wrong, he did not smell of body odor or anything unpleasant. Rather he smelled of absolutely nothing. Nor did her have any kind of irresistible sexual magnetism. I have used fragrance cosmetics for all of my adult life despite hearing the opinions of Dr. Carmichael on the subject. My fragrance cosmetics have not stopped me being attractive to the opposite sex. On the contrary I have never had trouble attracting a partner and I have also received several compliments on the way I smell. I think that Dr. Carmichael’s opinion is null and void in the 21st century because fragrance cosmetics are the norm rather than the exception.
