cosmetics makeup

Last week my cousin came up from the city to spend a couple days with me. Friday we ventured out to Lake Geneva, WI and spent a few hours walking around. Neither one of us thought to put on sun block, but I am so glad my cosmetics makeup has a natural SPF in it. It wasn't until I changed that night, getting ready to settle in and get comfortable for the night that I realized I had gotten pink on the back of my neck as well as my chest area and about a two inch strip on both arms where the sleeves of my t-shirt ended. It wasn't a bad burn, I've had worse, and at times when I wasn't prepared for it. But I'm so glad my face was burn free.

Although seeing the pink tint to my skin as I slathered aloe vera gel on it, I kept looking in the mirror wondering if my face did get a little pink. I was so pleased to see not a millimeter of pink was to be seen. This is all due to the fact that I now wear foundation, and one that has a natural SPF of 15. I like that aspect of my cosmetics makeup, especially since I never wore foundation before switching to the mineral cosmetics makeup that I use now. I cringe at the thought of all the hours I spent out in the sun with nothing other than blush, eye liner and concealer on my face. I'm so glad that all those years of basic skin care neglect didn't cause me any problems. I'm even happier to have found my mineral cosmetics makeup, not only is it super easy and quick to put on, but it truly is sweat proof. I can't imagine what it would be like using liquid cosmetics makeup on days like that, where I am out in the sun all day long.
